What is the current real estate market climate in North Idaho?

Summer may be short in Bonner and Boundary Counties, but the last 30 days have brought on the heat. Sellers are lowering temperatures on pricing, and buyers are striking deals before the forecast shifts again. More homes and land have sold compared to the previous month, but sellers should pack a little patience — closings are taking about a month longer to reach the finish line.

Home sales volume climbed 20% over the previous month. The median home price nudged up to $650,000, a modest 2% rise. Mortgage rates remain steady, and homes are closing in about 96 days.
